SILKY SEA

Designer Sara Esther's attachment to the ocean, seashells and contrasts of light is not new. Over the past 2 years, she has scoured Bali's most beautiful beaches. A daily invitation to watch the sunrise and sunset over these expressive and poetic waves. In this latest collection, she pays a sensitive and singular tribute to the setting that was for her these moments suspended in time.

The constant scenography of the waves inspires him rings rich in volume for men and women. She wants a mirror effect on the 925 silver and 18K yellow gold, like that of the sun reflecting on the surface of the water creating this effect of sparkling silk in the distance. In the same vein, the earrings are twisted ornaments, reflecting the many shells which, like rare and precious objects, are among the designer's dear treasures.

Having always maintained a strong relationship with nature in these creations, and in this wave of always going further in craftsmanship, all the pieces were sculpted by hand with the only flame of a small candle in his studio near from the sea in Bali. A work nourished by the beauty of the oceanic scenery, the reflection of the sun and the soul during golden hours, during an almost unreal period, so much did it look like a dream.

Always attached to a gentle production for our environment, all the pieces were produced in Antwerp when he returned to Belgium, like a carefully wrapped souvenir, which wanting to be remembered, goes around the world with us.
